Macquarie Bank Limited as issuer of the ANZ Macquarie Instalment
Warrants (ASX code ANZIBL, ANZIBO, ANZIMA and ANZIMB), announces the
record date for entitlements to the $0.29, 100% franked distribution
for the ANZ Macquarie Instalment Warrant is Friday 26 May 2000,
coinciding with the record date for the ANZ ordinary share dividend.

The ANZ Macquarie Instalment Warrants will commence trading
ex-distribution on Monday 22 May 2000. Again, this coincides with the
ex-dividend date for the ANZ ordinary share.

The Trustee will cause the dividends to be distributed to holders of
ANZ Instalments to coincide as reasonably practicable with the
receipt of the dividend from the company on Monday 3 July 2000.
