As Issuer of Australian and New Zealand Banking Group Limited ("ANZ")
Instalment Warrants (ASX code: ANZISI) UBS Warburg Australia Limited
announces that the record date for the entitlements of eligible
holders to a $0.29 distribution in relation to each ANZISI is Friday,
26 May 2000, coinciding with the record date for the ANZ ordinary
share dividend.

The ANZISI will commence trading ex-distribution on Monday, 22 May
2000. Again coincides with the ex-dividend date for ANZ ordinary
shares.

Distributions will be allotted as soon as practicable.
