ANZ today announced it had reached agreement in principle with
corProcure to link ANZ's online procurement service for middle market
companies - anzebiz.com - with corProcure's e-marketplace.

Under the Heads of Agreement signed in Melbourne, ANZ and
corProcure's online procurement services will be linked, enabling
companies operating through anzebiz and corProcure to interact, view
catalogues and transact on either site.

ANZ Head of Business e-Commerce, Mr Mike Irvine said the
interconnection alliance strengthens ANZ's position as Australia and
New Zealand's leading Corporate and Institutional Bank and builds on
its strategy to rapidly become the leading bank for business
e-Commerce.

"Linking the sites enhances the position of the two marketplaces by
offering a broader e-Procurement service that covers both the middle
market via anzebiz.com, and the corporate market via corProcure," he
said.

"This alliance better enables both marketplaces to provide a broader
and deeper capability and to accelerate access by businesses to the
latest e-Procurement technologies.

"It will also provide companies with a value adding service that will
help drive gains in terms of cost savings, reduced administration,
increased flexibility and greater market reach," he said.

corProcure Interim Chief Executive Officer, Mr Cameron Moroney said
that corProcure views the alliance with ANZ as a first step towards
leveraging complementary initiatives across corProcure's Founding
Shareholders, targeting the small to middle markets.

ANZ's online marketplace - anzebiz.com - provides a supplier
directory with an extensive online catalogue, covering a wide
spectrum of indirect supplies including stationery, industrial wares,
services and IT equipment. Integrated with these features will be
ANZ's secure online payments system, online reporting and later,
online auctioning, payment acceleration and other services.

The service has currently been made available to a select group of
companies in Australia and New Zealand and includes suppliers such as
IT procurement and support company, Volante OnLine and leading
supplier of office products and services, Corporate Express.
