Re: Offering Circular (the "Offering Circular") dated 16 December 1996
issued by Credit Suisse Financial Products (ARBN 062 787 106) (the
"Issuer") to Challenger International Nominees Limited (ACN 003 942 
765) in respect of a programme of Endowment Warrants

I write on behalf of the Issuer, in accordance with Rule 8.9.4 of the
Business Rules of The Australian Stock Exchange. Capitalised terms 
used and not otherwise defined herein have the meeting sepcified in 
the Offering Circular. 

I attach as Appendix A a statement showing, as at 29 September 2000,
the number of outstanding Endowment Warrants in each Series at
that date, the number of Endowment Warrants in each Series which were
exercised or bought back by the Issuer during the period from and
including 3 July 2000 to and including 29 September 2000 and the
Issuer's relevant interest at 29 September in the Share over which 
each Series of Endowment Warrants is issued.
