BROKEN HILL PROPRIETARY CO LTD

(b) As at 30/9/2000 ANZ Bank held a relevant interest in 4,138,906
    fully paid ordinary shares in Broken Hill Proprietary Co Ltd,
    comprising 0.2323% of the issued capital of that Listed Entity.

COLES MYER LIMITED

(a) Number of CMLWAA warrants bought back during quarter    1,159,058
    Number of CMLWAA warrants exercised during quarter            Nil
    Number of CMLWAA warrants currently outstanding as at

    comprising less than 0.19% of the issued capital of that Listed 
    Entity.

held otherwise than in connection with ANZ Bank's capacity as a
warrant issuer, and the holder of some or all of each of the above
holdings in securities may be an associate of ANZ Bank and not ANZ
