Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited confirms its BHPWAB
Series of American Call Warrants over ordinary shares in The Broken
Hill Proprietary Company Limited, issued by it under the Offering
Circular dated 3 July 2000, has been adjusted to take account of the
recently announced schemes of arrangement involving BHP shares and
OneSteel Limited.

The revised Required Number of Warrants is now [3.95].

The revised Exercise price is now [$19.74].

The adjustment takes effect as of 23 October 2000.
