Merrill Lynch International & Co CV as issuer of Australia and New
Zealand Banking' Group Limited Instalment Warrants (ASX code ANZIXI),
confirms that the record date for entitlements to the $0.35
distribution for the ANZ Instalments is 9th November 2000, coinciding
with the record date for the ANZ ordinary share dividend.

The ANZ Instalment Warrants will commence trading ex-distribution on
Thursday 2nd November 2000. The Company will pay the dividend for the
ANZ ordinary share on the 15th December 2000.

The Trustee will cause the dividends to be distributed to holders of
ANZ Instalments as soon as reasonably practicable following receipt.
