The Bank advises that on 7 June 1999:

* options to acquire 12,500 fully paid ordinary shares were issued
  under the ANZ Group Share Option Scheme;

* 6,276 fully paid ordinary shares were issued following the exercise
  of options under the ANZ Group Share Option Scheme; and

* 150,290 fully paid ordinary shares were issued for the beneficial
  interest of eligible employees under the ANZ Employee Share
  Acquisition Plan.
