I refer to the appendix 3B lodged with ASX on 3 September 1998.

Following closing of the capital raising described in the appendix
3B, the following additional information is provided:

* the number of securities issued was 64,016,000 preference shares;

* the amount raised by the issue was approximately US$400.1 million;

* the rate at which dividends will be payable (if the preference
shares become dividend paying, as described in paragraph 8 of the
appendix 3B) is 8% per annum.
