In accordance with Continuous Disclosure Rule 3.17, we attach a 
specimen of the Dividend advice, Dividend Reinvestment Plan statement 
and Bonus Option Plan Statement which shareholders of the Bank will be
receiving on Monday, 21 December 1998.
