Bankers Trust Australia Limited as issuer of the ANZ BT Instalment
Warrants (ASX code ANZWBK), announces that the record date for
entitlements to the $0.28 cent 60 percent franked (being 16.8 cents)
distribution for the ANZ BT Instalment Warrants is Friday 20/11/98,
coinciding with the record date for the ANZ ordinary share dividend.

The ANZ BT Instalment Warrants will commence trading ex-distribution
on Thursday 12/11/98. Again, this coincides with the ex-dividend date
for the ANZ ordinary share.

The Trustee will cause the dividends to be distributed to holders of
ANZ Instalments as soon as reasonably practicable upon their receipt.
