Davids Limited has mandated ANZ Investment Bank to arrange a
securitisation of the group's trade debtors. Initial program
documentation has been signed.

Completion of this transaction will result in the refinancing of
Davids' existing debt.

Standard and Poor's has assigned a preliminary rating of "A1+" to t0
he
program.

It is anticipated that the implementation date will be by 30 April
1999.
