Davids Limited recently mandated ANZ Investment Bank to arrange a
securitisation of the Trade Receivables of the Australian Liquor
Marketers Group ("ALM").

Standard and Poors are expected to assign a rating of AAA to the
issue.

The proceeds of the program will be used to refinance ALM's existing
debt and to0
 provide working capital.

It is expected that the documentation and implementation of the
program will be completed by 30 September, 1999.
