Leading Australian-based Internet communications company, eisa
Limited, today announced the signing of an agreement with ANZ which
will provide a secure payment gateway for its e-commerce ventures.

ANZ's eGate service will allow eisa to securely verify and authorise
customer payments at sites such as www.the0
. The agreement will reassure customers
about the safety of credit card transactions made over the Internet.

CEO, Mr Damien Brady identified the agreement with ANZ as one of the
central elements to the continued expansion of eisa's on-line

"As a dynamic company, we see the importance of state-of-the-art
transaction software. We expect to process between $40-50 million
over the next twelve months through eGate and to continue0
 to build
close relationships with ANZ", he said.

The service adopts the highest level of security protocols, including
encryption of data passed through the public domain. As well as
processing credit card transactions, additional payment options are
being developed, such as Smartcard technologies.

eisa currently operates an on-line technology store,  and recently launched , a0
n on-line share
trading site developed jointly with Hartley Poynton.

The company recently listed on the Australian Stock Exchange and
provides Internet Access which is available to over 90% of the
Australian population.

Mr Brady identified the formation of partnerships with organisations
like ANZ as central to eisa's growth over the next year.
