ASX is excited to announce that it will be partnering with Finance News Network (FNN) to produce a monthly program of ASX-listed company seminars across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth. The initiative is designed to bring Australian investors and shareholders together with the senior management of ASX-listed companies across a wide range of company sectors, sizes, and phases of their growth cycle.
A total of 22 investment seminars are planned for this financial year, with Sydney seminars commencing Thursday 16-October and in Melbourne Thursday 30-October.
Up to eight ASX-listed companies will present for 10-15 minutes each, to be followed by informal investor and company discussion and light refreshments. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with CEOs and senior management of the listed companies in this relaxed setting.
The seminars will be scheduled in central CBD locations across both lunchtimes and early evenings, to give investors the best opportunity to attend at a convenient time. The format of the events is:
- 4 to 8 companies presenting at each seminar
- 10-15 minute company presentation slots
- CEO meet-and-greet following the presentations
- A capacity of up to 250 investors and shareholders per seminar
- Light refreshments
Presentations and brief interviews with the CEOs will be filmed on the day by FNN and rebroadcast across ASX and FNN digital channels.
Morningstar will be providing a one-page research note on each participating company to all registered attendees two weeks prior to each event.
ASX views independent and objective research as a valuable investor tool - not only because it can fill information gaps, but also because it can give investors better insight into peer and sector comparables. Having the Morningstar material prior to each seminar will give investors a chance to digest the material and prepare their questions.
The ASX Investor Series will launch midday on Thursday 16 October at Exchange Square in Sydney.
The listed companies presenting will include:
