March 2012

Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC)

ASX was again delighted to be exhibiting at PDAC, the world’s largest mining conference and trade show. Our giveaways were again well received, so join us and pick yours up at PDAC 2013.

ASX Spotlight Small to Mid Caps, New York and London

Our thanks to all participants who took part in the ASX Spotlight Small to Mid Caps Conferences in New York and London. It was a record turnout for the New York event with more than 255 delegates hearing first-hand the investment opportunities presented by a selection of emerging Australian companies and finding out more about the attractiveness of the Australian equity market overall.
In addition to presenting, ASX-listed companies met many key investors during an intensive one-on-one meeting program; more than 260 meetings over both days of the conference.

May 2012

ASX Investor Relations Hot Spots 2012
- 8 May, Deutsche Bank, Sydney
- 9 May, Deutsche Bank, Melbourne
- 11 May, QV1 Conference Centre, Perth

The ASX, in conjunction with the Australasian Investor Relations Association (AIRA), is holding a series of free education forums entitled Investor Relations Hot Spots in 2012. The forums are half-day training sessions that address the particular needs of listed companies outside the S&P/ASX 200 that require an understanding of investor relations tools/techniques in the listed environment.

The forums will be run by AIRA and are being co-hosted and sponsored by ASX throughout Australia. All ASX-listed companies outside the S&P/ASX 200 will have the opportunity to send one representative to one forum free. Numbers will be restricted to 50 people per event and places will be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.

- 24 May, Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Hong Kong

ASX Spotlight Small to Mid Caps in Singapore and Hong Kong will offer a chance to hear first-hand the investment opportunities presented by a selection of emerging Australian companies and to find out more about the attractiveness of the Australian equity market overall.
Presentations will be made by each company's CEO or CFO and will be supplemented by one-on-one meetings throughout the program. These meetings enable highly targeted conversations between institutional investors and company management.

October 2012

ASX has hosted successful conferences in both Hong Kong and Singapore for the past five years and is now seeking expressions of interest from companies with a market capitalisation between $150 million and $2 billion that are interested in participating in this multi-city event. If you represent a company with a market capitalisation between $150 million and $2 billion and are interested in participating in a conference in 2012, please email smalltomidcaps@asx.com.au. Our Singapore and Hong Kong conferences in May 2012 are now fully subscribed but we are taking expressions of interest for our Asian events in Singapore on 16 October and Hong Kong on 18 October.


November 2012

Australian Resources Conference, Perth
Perth will host the Australian Resources Conference and Trade Show (ARC 2012) from 12 to 14 November. ARC is the first event of its kind in Australia to bring together all facets of the resources sector in one city and at the same time, providing a comprehensive overview of the Australian resources sector to domestic and international delegates.

ARC 2012 is a joint initiative of ASX and The Financial Review, with the assistance of the Western Australian Government and Commonwealth Department of Resources and Energy.
