Exchange For Physical (EFP) Trade: an alternative if you don't want to make or take delivery through ASX
If you have a hedge in place on ASX that you would like to unwind in an efficient manner, rather than make or take delivery, you may be interested in executing an Exchange For Physical (EFP) Trade. The EFP is a type of trade that enables large scale hedgers on ASX to unwind positions in conjunction with an offsetting physical trade. By incorporating either physical activities or other risk management activities, in the case of EFRs, the EFP Trade provides traders with an alternative.
