ASX Grain Futures & Options has migrated to ASX 24

The ASX Grain Futures and Options market has migrated to ASX 24 (ASX Trade24ASX Clear (Futures)).

By assisting global connectivity, the migration to ASX 24 will prove to be the most significant development for this growing market since deregulation of Australian bulk wheat exports. The primary aim of the migration is to support continued market growth and promote greater liquidity for the Australian grain and oilseed marketplace by improving both market accessibility and market functionality. The following links contain the relevant Operating Rules and Procedures for ASX 24 and ASX Clear (Futures).

ASX Clear (Futures) 

^ The rules above and changes set out below have proceeded through Regulatory Clearance and are effective from 24 October 2011:

(a)          changing "Settlement Value" to "settlement amount" in the 2nd last line of Item 25 for the WA Wheat, EA Feed Barley, Australian Sorghum and EA Canola contracts;

(b)          adding "deliverable in New South Wales (NSW) and Victoria (VIC)" after "Feed Barley of Australian origin," in Item 1 of the EA Feed Barley contract;

(c)           Removing "The deliverable grade must be free of any regulatory control that is applied on either a State basis or determined by crop year." from Item 1 of the EA Feed Barley contract; and

(d)          adding "and Queensland (Qld)" after "New South Wales (NSW)" in Item 1 of the Australian Sorghum contract.
