What are REC Futures?
ASX Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) Futures are standardised and centrally cleared forward contracts for delivery of Large-Scale Generation Certificates via the Office of the Renewable Energy Regulators (ORER) Register.
Why trade REC Futures?
ASX REC Futures provide a robust mechanism for companies with interest in or exposure to the Large-Scale Renewable Energy Target scheme to manage their REC price and counterparty credit exposures.
Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs)
ASX Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) Futures have contracts listed up to five years ahead. Options are also planned to be listed.
