Expiry calendar
Listed below are the expiry dates for options, LEPOs and futures contracts. The expiry date for equity options is usually the Thursday before the last business Friday in the month. The ASX Clear (formerly Australian Clearing House) has the right to change this date should the need arise. Your broker can provide you with details.
Index Options and Index LEPOs expire on the third Thursday of the contract month providing this is a trading day. ASX Clear has the right to change this date should the need arise.

The listing day for the various expiry cycles for equity options are shown below:

European style exercise
All LEPOs are European style.

ASX will list series in the first 6 maturity months and then only March, June, September and December expiry months out for a period of 2 years. For maturities in year 3 ASX will only list June and December expiry months. ASX will not list Category 1, Category 2 or Category 3 ETO series with expiries beyond 3 years. |
