Grain Trade Australia (GTA)
GTA is the industry association for the commercial grains industry within Australia. GTA ensures there is an efficient, equitable and open trading environment given the prevailing industry structure in place.
Australian Oilseeds Federation (AOF)
AOF is the peak industry body for the Australian oilseeds value chain embracing consumers of food, feed, health and industrial products. AOF was established to represent the common interests of all Australian oilseed industry participants and to promote the development, expansion and improvement of Australian oilseed production.
Australian Grain Industry Conference
Australian Grains Industry Conference (AGIC)
The AGIC is the premier annual grains industry event and is well attended by end users, marketers, bulk handlers, service providers, growers, government and R&D leaders. ASX has had a long and proud association with AGIC dating back to 2003. AGIC is usually held in late July each year.
Australian Government
Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics and Sciences (ABARES)
ABARES is a research bureau within the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry. ABARES produces quarterly forecasts for Australia’s grain industry in the form of the Australian Crop Report which is released in February, June, September and December each year. ABARES also produces the Australian Wheat Supply and Exports Monthly report. For more information on report release dates please refer to the ABARE release schedule.WEA was established on 1 July 2008 under the Wheat Export Marketing Act 2008 to regulate the export of bulk wheat from Australia. Exporters wanting to export bulk wheat from Australia must be accredited by Wheat Exports Australia under the Wheat Exports Accreditation Scheme. The WEA website provides information relating to which companies are accredited bulk wheat exporters as well as the export destinations for Australian wheat.
The BOM is Australia’s national weather, climate and water agency, providing surveillance, forecasts and warning services. The BOM website provides a range of meteorological and related observations, information, forecasts, warnings and educational material to monitor current weather conditions and assist with the planning of future activities.
