Successful Investor Relations Strategies for SMEs - Free Course

To assist small and medium-sized companies attract and maintain the interest of investors and analysts, the ASX, in conjunction with the Australasian Investor Relations Association (AIRA), is launching a one-day education course entitled 'Successful Investor Relations Strategies for SMEs'. 

About the course

The course is a one-day intensive training course that addresses the particular needs of listed companies outside the ASX top 100.  The objective of the course is to deliver key insights into:

  • The importance of investor relations (IR) 
  • Implementing an annual IR programme
  • Dealing with fund managers and research analysts
  • Utilising retail broker channels
  • Investor and media relations 
  • The use of technology and social media

          It will principally target senior executives of SMEs who assume the responsibility for and/or need a practical understanding of investor relations principles and programmes.

          ASX is co-hosting and sponsoring the course. All ASX listed companies outside the ASX top 100 will have the opportunity to send one representative to one course for free. Course numbers will be restricted to 50 people per event and will be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.
