The Australian Securities Exchange and Thomson Reuters Australia (formerly Reuters) joined forces in 1999 to form a Charity Foundation with the objective of helping Australian-based children’s, disability and medical research charities by organising fundraising events in conjunction with the Financial Markets. Funds are raised by holding an annual golf tournament, dinner, auction, art union and a charity sailing regatta. To date, the combined funds distributed to a wide range of charities totals just under $21 million. The next golf event will be held Friday 24 February 2012. A field of 264 Golfers supported by over 200 Corporate sponsors will play in the day and attend the dinner. |

MFA’s Network series, launched in January 1995, is the alternative investment industry’s premier networking conference and exposition. The conference features a substantial educational agenda, ample networking events and concurrent business meeting lounges reserved for managers to meet with investors. The Network 2012 program agenda focuses on investor needs, including presentations on investment styles and strategies as well as best practices in asset allocation, manager selection, due diligence and risk management. In addition, there is a large exhibition hall presenting products that help investment advisers optimize management and operational efficiencies. ASX will be exhibiting at this tradeshow. |

Mining Indaba is recognised as Africa’s most important mining event and the second largest mining conference and exhibition of its type in the world. Mining Indaba has become the platform of choice for governments, companies and investors to break market sensitive information to the world. Each year the event is well-attended, with more than 4,000 individuals representing more than 800 international companies and approximately 40 government and quasi-government delegations. As part of Mining Indaba, ASX will be holding 'The Road to an ASX Listing' workshop which is free to attend for conference delegates.
