Direct Market Access and algorithmic trading

ASX is a high performance, FIX compliant, electronic trading destination. ASX offers institutional investors competitive spreads, low latency and anonymity.

Information on DMA and algorithmic trading

Settlement

ASX operates two systems for the electronic settlement and transfer of trades. The settlement process used for settling equities trades is known as CHESS (Clearing House Electronic Subregister System) and the settlement system for derivatives is known as the Derivatives Clearing System (DCS).
