ComNews™ and ComNews™ Direct

ComNews™

The ComNews service provides access to all company announcements received or issued by ASX in relation to issuers admitted to the Official List of ASX. These announcements are released on ASX trading days as soon as possible after the companies have lodged them.

Each ComNews story includes a header text file and a PDF file of the company announcement. The files are available on a secure FTP server in a single directory for all company announcements. Subscribers retrieve these by continuously polling the FTP server.

The ComNews FTP server is accessed through a managed TCP/IP routed network, with connectivity either via a carrier based VPN or internet VPN.

The ASX ComNews distribution platform is used by all global information vendors who provide company announcements as a service on their vendor terminals.

ComNews™ Direct

ComNews Direct is a straightforward, user-friendly application of ComNews distributed through our web-based front-end ASXOnline.

This service is primarily intended for use by customers that do not have access to a ComNews provider terminal.

ComNews Direct includes 'meta data' defining Company Announcement type or sub-type, market sensitivity, date, ASX code and related entities. The announcements are in native PDF format, which are in full colour and searchable.
