Upcoming International Conferences

The Australian Securities Exchange and the international desks of ASX Broker Participants have come together to deliver a series of international investor events designed to showcase Australian small and mid cap listed companies. The aim is to make these events as inclusive as possible, whilst ensuring there is a match between the investment profiles of the companies attending and the investment demands of the international institutional attendees. Participating companies generally have a market capitalisation of between A$150 million and $2 billion.

New York - 4 March 2010

In its third year, this North America conference is a chance to hear first hand the investment opportunities presented by a selection of emerging Australian companies and to find out more about the attractiveness of the Australian equity market overall. The companies participating have market capitalisations between A$150 million and $1 billion.

London - 12 March 2010

Shortly after the New York conference, listed companies with market caps between $500 million and $2 billion will make the trip to London and further broaden their international presence by meeting the UK investment community. In parallel to the presentations a series of one-on-one investor meetings will take place.  The companies participating have market capitalisations between A$150 million and $2.5 billion.

Past International Conferences

Hong Kong - 29 October 2009

The second Small to Mid Caps in Hong Kong was well received by the local investment community. 170 people attended the day-long conference and more than 190 meetings between investors and company management were held.

Filmings of the presentations are available on the site. Through the strong media interest these videos have already been viewed online more than 20,000 times, further extending the reach of the face to face program.

New for 2009, the ASX Small to Mid Caps event was brought to the doorstep of the UK investors. The event was a great opportunity for UK investors to hear the latest business strategies and outlooks from a selection of emerging Australian and New Zealand market leaders in the small and mid cap segment of the Australian market.

New York - 26 February 2009

The second Small to Mid Caps event held in New York brought together 130 delegates and a selection of ASX listed companies with market caps under $2billion.

Presentations were made by the CEO or CFO from a number of emerging Australian market leaders and was supplemented by one-on-one meetings throughout the day.

Following the success of the inaugural Small Caps event in New York, ASX has expanded the program to cover Asia with this first Small to Mid Caps event in Hong Kong.

This event placed the spotlight on a selection of emerging Australian market leaders with mining, energy and related activities, and provided a forum for Hong Kong investors and ASX companies to network.
