How are trading volumes released on www.asx.com.au?

Daily trading volumes are calculated as at 5 p.m. on each trading day and do not include off-market trades occurring after 5 p.m. Daily trading volumes are updated on www.asx.com.au at approximately 5:15 p.m. on each trading day.

Monthly trading volumes include all trades occurring within a particular month, including those conducted off market. Therefore the sum of the figures for the daily trading volumes for any given month may not equal the monthly trading volume figure. Monthly trading volumes are updated on www.asx.com.au at approximately 8 p.m. on the fourth trading day of the subsequent month.

While ASX uses its best endeavours to update the trading volumes by 5:15 p.m. on each trading day for daily trading volumes and by the fourth trading day of the subsequent month for monthly trading volumes, due to circumstances beyond our control delays may sometimes occur.
