Investor Hour Monthly lunchtime seminar series   Investor Hour is a monthly lunchtime seminar series keeping new and experienced investors up-to-date. Industry experts including brokers, economists, analysts and senior management of listed companies present and answer questions on a variety of sharemarket topics. Sydney and Melbourne seminars are also made available as podcasts.

To achieve this, ASX is planning weekly webinars, a series of web-based seminars broadcast live, allowing you to interact directly with the presenters without leaving your computer.
       
MINIs ASX/CommSec - Introduction to Macquarie MINIs   MINIs provide investors with a simple effective way to gain exposure to the share market. Whether you are looking to trade individual shares or the index or market as whole, MINIs offer 1 for 1 exposure to these underlying assets for a fraction of the cost. Join ASX, CommSec and Macquarie as we run through the mechanics of MINIs and how various MINI strategies can be utilised to profit in both rising and falling markets.
       
  ASX/CommSec - Advancing in Macquarie MINIs   In constantly shifting markets identifying trends and trading over the short term has become increasingly challenging. For traders looking to profit from short term market movements whilst limiting losses, MINIs provide a simple alternative to other trading products. This session will cover how investors can use MINIs to effectively protect their portfolios as well as take advantage of movements in an asset in either direction through a range of strategies. We will also look at charting techniques that can be used to identify trends and form a particular view.
       
Commodities & International Shares ASX/E*Trade – Gaining Exposure to Commodities and International Shares   RBS has recently introduced a range of products that provide investors with a means of gaining exposure to alternative asset classes such as commodities and single stock international shares all through the ASX. The session will seek to educate investors on the mechanics of the range of exchange traded notes available on the ASX and how they can be used to diversify your portfolio.
