ASX has created a series of video tutorials to help you understand various sharemarket topics.  They run for a few minutes each and look at the fundamentals of the market and the role of each market participant.

What is a stockbroker?

A stockbroker has direct access to the market for trading shares, and acts as agent to buy and sell shares, for which a fee is charged.
