Investor Hour is a monthly lunchtime seminar series keeping new and experienced investors up-to-date with a variety of sharemarket topics.  Presented by key industry figures, ASX Investor Hour is organised by the ASX, the Australian Shareholders' Association (ASA) and the Securities Derivatives Industry Association (SDIA) offering something for everyone. Attending ASX Investor Hour is a great way to start the year.

Marcus has been candidly explaining the stockmarket to private client investors in an entertaining and very personal manner for over a decade. In this talk he will challenge commonly accepted principles, and explain how he believes the stockmarket really goes around. He will also divulge his four cast iron  techniques for making money.

Marcus is a stockbroker who has been advising institutional and private clients for more than 27 years. For the past 11 years, Marcus has produced a daily online stockmarket newsletter, called Marcus Today. Marcus also writes for The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald and does a weekly column for the WA Business News. Marcus is also a regular speaker.

He is a Bachelor of Law and has a Master's degree in Applied Finance from Macquarie University, including a prize in Applied Portfolio Management.

Oliver moved to Australia 6 years ago from NYC.  He worked as an institutional broker and portfolio manager advising and managing money for Scandinavian institutions, Volvo, IKEA, Royal Bank of Sweden to name a few. Here in Australia prior to working for RBS he worked at Macquarie bank and Shaw.
