ASX/E*TRADE – Gaining Exposure to commodities and international shares
RBS has recently introduced a range of products that provide investors with a means of gaining exposure to alternative asset classes such as commodities and single stock international shares all through the ASX.
The Rogers International Commodity Indices (RICI) developed by Jim Rogers are a range over diversified indices that cover 37 different commodities across metals, energy and agriculture. Through the RBS Exchange traded notes investors can gain exposure to these indices and commodities.
Alternatively investors can gain exposure to a range of international shares such as Apple, Google, Microsoft or the London based listings of BHP and Rio Tinto.
The session will seek to educate investors on the mechanics of the range of exchange traded notes available on the ASX and how they can be used to diversify your portfolio.
