Proposed Listing Rule Amendments - Further delay to Implementation Date

In the Companies Update released on 10 June 2005, ASX foreshadowed that a number of the listing rule amendments exposed in September 2004 including

• Chairman's open proxies
• Nomination of directors

and a number of other amendments dealing with technical matters and redundant provisions would take effect in the week commencing 18 July 2005.

There has been a further delay in formalising these rule amendments, and no listing rule amendments will now come into effect in the week commencing 18 July 2005.

ASX will advise companies when a definite Implementation Date for these rule amendments is known.
