ASX Review of Reporting Deadlines
As you may be aware, concerns had been raised by some issuers and analysts in relation to the reduced deadlines for reporting full-year and interim results, introduced by ASX in 2003.

In 2005, in response to these concerns, ASX conducted a comprehensive review of its decision. After extensive consultation during the review process, and given significant market support for its retention, ASX has determined to retain the 2 month deadline.

ASX has issued a media release (PDF 71KB) to advise its decision and the implications for listed companies.  ASX reporting deadlines for 2006-2007 are available in attachment A (PDF 44KB).
