The grain futures and options section of the ASX website has been reorganised to improve navigation. There are several new features that you may find beneficial. Individual icons have been developed for high traffic areas such as the daily activity report and the stock holding report while the 'events' and 'what's new' section in the top right hand corner will keep you up to date with what is going on in the market.

The proposed listing date for Western Australia Wheat (WAW) Futures and Options is yet to be determined. ASX remains committed to listing Western Australia Wheat Futures and Options and will confirm a listing date once all necessary agreements are in place. The proposed contract specification can now be found via the 'contract specifications' icon on the grain futures homepage.

The average daily volume registered for May and June is currently 835 contracts or 16,700 tonnes of Australian grain. This is slightly higher than the daily average achieved during the record volume year 2006/2007. This report can now be accessed via the 'market update' icon on the grain futures homepage. |

The introduction of the proposed new trading hours will be confirmed when the listing date for WAW is confirmed. It is envisaged that the proposed new trading hours will maximise on-screen trading activity as well as service industry participants throughout Australia and Asia. This and associated trading information can now be easily accessed via the 'trading info' icon on the grain futures homepage.
