ASX-listed companies benefiting from exposure in New York and London

March was a busy month for international conferences with many ASX listed companies taking to the road for investor roadshows and meetings. Among these were 24 ASX small to mid capitalisation companies that participated in the annual ASX international roadshows in New York and London.

ASX Small to Mid Caps showcased a diverse but representative group of ASX listed companies to key North American investors and analysts. The CEOs of the companies spent a full day in New York, presenting to more than 150 delegates and taking part in one-on-one meetings with North American institutional investors. A highlight of the event is the structured one-on-one meeting program which allows for private meetings between companies and qualified investors to be arranged before the event.  With over 150 meetings being held at the New York event, these have proved to be a significantly valuable feature for the participating companies.

A week later, ASX hosted the ASX Emerging Growth conference in London in partnership with Southern Cross Equities. Again, there was strong interest from the local financial community with nearly 115 delegates coming through the doors to hear the stories and investment fundamentals of 15 ASX issuers.

ASX Emerging Growth conference - 12 March, London

The global exposure for emerging companies will continue on 27 May 2010 with the first ASX Small to Mid Caps in Singapore. Following the May event in Singapore, ASX will be holding the third Hong Kong ASX Small to Mid Caps. We are hoping to build on the success of 2009’s event, which featured 17 presenting companies who between them took part in nearly 200 private meetings with Asian institutional investors during the course of the event.

If you represent a company with a market capitalisation between $150 million and $2 billion and are interested in participating in the Hong Kong conference this year or interested in New York, London, Singapore or Hong Kong in 2011, please email smalltomidcaps@asx.com.au for further information.
