This is the second edition of the Listed @ ASX email newsletter. ASX supporting Australia's business builders -
South Australia's Robert Gerard named as Australia's Top Entrepreneur
Gerard was selected from a panel of 35 entrepreneurs who had made it through to the national finals following a six-month program of regional judging and awards held across the country and involving more than 120 candidates. Founded and produced by Ernst & Young globally, the Australian Stock Exchange is proud to have sponsored the Australian award program since its inception.

Biotech Reporting Code Committee off to a flying start
The Australian Biotechnology sector took another important step towards establishing itself as a world leader with the recent convening of a committee to progress the development of the Biotech reporting code. The role of the committee, formed jointly by ASX and AusBiotech, is to review the current draft of the code with a view to finalising it as a Code of Best Practice in the second half of 2005.

  • Global Market - Bagflags of the World - Commencing 14 February, ASX Exchange Square will house an exciting international exhibition of oil paintings by the prominent Swiss-Australian artist, Marie-Claire Baldenweg. Titled, "Global Market - Bagflags of the World", the central theme of the artworks are different aspects of the process of globalisation, which are influencing and changing our cultures and societies worldwide. Each piece combines the motif of the plastic carrier bag with the symbol of various national flags. ASX is proud to be the venue sponsor of this event.
