Who owns your company?
Australian listed companies are now more likely than ever before to count retail shareholders as owners of their equity, according to the 2004 ASX Share Ownership Study. The Study, the latest in an ASX series stretching back to 1991, showed that 55 percent of adult Australians (8 million people) now include shares in their investment portfolio, up from 51 percent last year (7.4 million people).

  • Company Orientation Sessions

    ASX runs company orientation sessions for newly listed companies or new staff at existing listed companies. The seminar covers topics such as continuous disclosure and ongoing compliance issues, how announcements are released to the market, price queries and trading halts. Chief Financial Officers, Company Secretaries, legal and investor relations staff and Company Directors are encouraged to attend. These sessions are held regularly in each state, dates are advertised below, alternatively contact your state manager to register your interest.
  • Increase your visibility
    The ASX Listed Emblem Program allows you to use a dedicated ASX symbol in your company's marketing communication materials.
    Changes to the ASX website
    The entire www.asx.com.au website is currently being redesigned. The purpose of the redesign initiative is to improve www.asx.com.au usability for both investors and professionals. The outcome of this will be an improved web service to assist and increase trading activity.
    ASX ComNews Direct
    ComNews Direct - a simple and inexpensive information source for Company news direct to your personal desktop. ComNews Direct is a straightforward user-friendly application of ASX ComNews developed specifically for professional service firms, listed companies, specific overseas companies and back-office environments The service provides real time access to all Listed Company announcements disseminated by ASX and is distributed through a web-based front-end application, ASXOnline.
