Liaison committees
To improve communication and transparency with external stakeholders, two liaison committees have been established - the ASX Supervision Liaison Committee (Issuers) and the ASX Supervision Liaison Committee (Participants).
Each liaison committee meets biannually and has been established to improve communication and transparency between ASX and listed entities and between ASX and Market Participants.
ASX Supervision Liaison Committee (Issuers) provides key listed entity representatives and senior ASX and ASX Markets Supervision staff with a forum for consultation and discussion on issues or areas of concern regarding the monitoring and enforcement of the Listing Rules.
The members of the Liaison Committee (Issuers) are:

- Australian Institute of Company Directors
- Australia’s Biotechnology Organisation
- CPA Australia
- Chartered Secretaries Australia
- Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia
- Law Council of Australia
- Minerals Council of Australia
- National Institute of Accountants
- Property Council of Australia
- Securities Registrars Association of Australia Inc
ASX Supervision Liaison Committee (Participants) provides representatives of key parties having an interest in the supervision of ASX markets and senior ASX and ASX Markets Supervision staff with a forum for consultation and discussion on issues or areas of concern regarding the monitoring and enforcement of ASX’s Market Rules, and Clearing and Settlement Rules.
The members of the Liaison Committee (Participants) are:
- Australasian Compliance Institute (ACI)
- Securities and Derivatives Industry Association (SDIA)
- Australian Financial Markets Association (AFMA)
- Financial Planning Association of Australia (FPA)
- Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA)
- Investment and Financial Services Association (IFSA)
