Where appropriate, amendments to the ASX Listing Rules, ASX Market Rules, ACH Clearing Rules and ASTC Settlement Rules are released as an Exposure Draft, in order to seek the views of interested parties.

Upcoming ASX Listing Rule amendments

Non-Voting Ordinary Shares:  ASX has released a public consultation paper requesting feedback on a proposal for ASX to amend its listing rules to allow quotation of non-voting ordinary shares, subject to certain safeguards.  ASX is conducting this consultation in response to stakeholder requests, and has not yet formed a view with respect to this proposal. ASX invites submissions by Friday 7 March 2008.

2008 ASX Omnibus Listing Rule Amendments:  ASX has released details of proposed omnibus listing rule amendments. ASX invites comments on any of the proposed listing rule amendments by Friday 15 February 2008.

ASX Group has released an Exposure Draft re proposed ASX Listing Rule amendments.  Comments are requested by 20 July 2007.

Upcoming ASX Market Rule amendments

ASX Group has released a Consultation Paper re the introduction of a new Rule and Market framework called the AQUA Market.  Comments are requested by Friday, 10 August 2007.
