This section provides information on the range of trading services on ASX Trade® - ASX’s new equities trading platform. Key products listed on ASX Trade include listed equities, exchange traded options, warrants, exchange traded funds, index options and interest rate securities.
ASX Trade - Our new trading platform
ASX Trade is an ultra-low latency trading platform based on NASDAQ OMX’s Genium INET system. ASX Trade takes ASX’s latency down to 300 microseconds. This platform includes a multi-functional, multi-asset class trade facility called ASX TradeMatch®, launched in November 2010, and a parallel trade facility, PureMatch®. PureMatch, launched in 2011, provides latency-sensitive customers trading opportunities in a subset of ASX-listed securities. In terms of co-location, ASX is introducing a Liquidity Cross Connect and High Capacity Open Interface Session. To keep Participants and Vendors up-to-date on the ASX Trade implementation process, ASX has compiled key reference material.
