The Australian Securities Exchange is offering 100 free tickets to attend the Australian Resources Conference & Trade Show (ARC), to be held in Perth on November 13-14, 2012.
ARC is a joint initiative of ASX and the Australian Financial Review, with support from the Western Australian Government and Commonwealth Department of Resources and Energy.
ASX will provide a ticket to the first 100 investors who register their interest. They will have access to the exhibition and Investor's Exchange over one day of the event.
More than 50 small and mid-cap ASX-listed companies will present at the Investor's Exchange, and investors can meet companies that will have stands at the exhibition. This is a great opportunity for retail investors to hear from ASX small and mid-cap listed companies.
The free tickets do not provide access to the main program, which has been designed for institutional investors.
ASX expects ARC to draw up to 2500 delegates from Australia and overseas and become the pre-eminent Asia-Pacific resource event. It believes ARC will be among the world's top resource conferences and an important annual fixture for global resource companies and investors.
The inaugural event features addresses from:
International guest speaker, Professor Brian Cox
Western Australian Premier, Colin Barnett
Federal Minister for Resources, Energy and Tourism, Martin Ferguson
Rio Tinto Australia Managing Director, David Peever
WorleyParsons Group Managing Director, Andrew Wood
BHP Billiton Iron Ore President, Jimmy Wilson
Future Fund Chairman, David Gonski
Senior government officials from India and Mongolia.
