MPH Limited's ("MPH") takeover offers for the shares and options in
AVJennings Homes Limited ("AVJennings") closed on 22 July 2000. As a
result of the offers, MPH increased its relevant interest in
AVJennings shares from 73.38% to 93.27%. It is the present intention
of MPH that AVJennings will remain listed on the Australian Stock
Exchange.
