In respect of the announcement issued to the Australian Stock
Exchange earlier today concerning the agreement for termination of
the company's contract for contract mining and construction of a
waste disposal facility at Murrin Murrin, Henry Walker issues the
following clarification:

The announcement included a statement that "Henry Walker will
vigorously pursue its entitlements under the contract." The intention
of this statement was to indicate Henry Walker's commitment to
completion of the termination agreement as a means of finally
settling all issues outstanding under the contract. Completion of the
termination agreement in its entirety will amount to full and final
settlement of all matters outstanding between the parties under the
contract.
