Recent market announcements and new issues 

11 November 2019 - Suncorp Group Limited ("SUN") have launched an offer for Capital Notes (SUNPH - CAP NOTE 3-BBSW+X.XX% PERP NON-CUM RED T-06-26). The offer size is guided to be $250 million. SUNPH are structured as perpetual, subordinated, unsecured, and convertible. Distributions are expected to be discretionary, non-cumulative, floating rate, fully franked, and paid on a quarterly basis in arrears until converted or redeemed. 1 November 2019 - Virgin Australia Holdings Limtied ("VAH") announced today the successful completion of
the bookbuild for its recently launched offer of ASX-listed Virgin Australia Notes (VAHHA - BOND 8.00% 26-11-24 SEMI CUM RED T-11-22). Virgin Australia has allocated $325 million of Notes in the bookbuild and has set the Interest Rate at 8.00% per annum.  The notes will commence trading on a deferred settlement basis on 27 November 2019.  See the full list of ASX-listed interest rate securities.

 

9 October 2019 - Commonwealth Bank of Australia (“CBA”) has formally launched an offer for Capital Notes (CBAPI - CAP NOTE 3-BBSW+3.00% PERP NON-CUM RED T-04-27). The offer size is guided to be $750 million, with the bank retaining the ability to raise more or less. These securities are structured as perpetual, subordinated, unsecured, convertible notes. Distributions are expected to be discretionary, non-accumulative, floating rate, fully franked, and paid on a quarterly basis in arrears until converted or redeemed. 9 September 2019 - Australian Unity has formally launched 2 new Simple Corporate Bonds as an early refinance for the $250m AYUHB ahead of its 15 Dec 2020 maturity date.    The Series C Bond (AYUHC) has a maturity date of 15 Dec 2024, while the Series D Bond (AYUHD) has a maturity date of 15 Dec 2026. See the full list of ASX-listed interest rate securities.
