Issuer Services pricing calculator
The ASX Issuer Services pricing calculator is designed to provide you with a guide to key fees charged by ASX Issuer Services. The fees outlined in this calculator were effective 1 July 2022, alongside a number of other changes. For more information about these changes, refer to the issuer services fee web page. Please note the fees calculated on this page are estimates only and are exclusive of GST.
Issuer Services include the set up and maintenance of a CHESS subregister for any approved financial product, holder administration, holder account balances, and the issuance of CHESS holding statements to holders.
The fees charged for Issuer Services are separate to listing fee charges. More information on listing fees is available here.
The calculator provided on this page covers three key fee changes that were effective 1 July 2022:
- A subscription fee replaced a number of previous fees including the Equity and Fund Issuer Annual Operating Charge, and a number of charges related to holder maintenance. The subscription fee is based on the number of HINs (holder accounts) maintained in CHESS for an issuer, with a tiered rate structure, dependent on whether the issuer is categorised as a corporate (including LICs) or investment product issuer.
- A charge for the issue of ASX CHESS holding statements. The charge for paper statements is $0.50 per statement, with no charge (included in subscription fee) for the issue of electronic statements.
- A charge for holding adjustments, with a tiered fee structure based on the number of adjustments made.
ASX notes that the discount previously available from 1 July 2022 has been discontinued effective 1 July 2025, the same effective date for the new ASX Cash Equities Clearing, Settlement and Issuer Services Pricing Policy. Discounts, if applicable, were calculated and applied for FY25. References to the discount have now been removed from this page.
Instructions on how to use the calculator and definitions can be found in the ‘How to use the calculator’ and ‘Questions’ sections below the calculator.
