ASX Options Liquidity Growth Program

Your clearing participants (broker) will not be charged ASX Clear Fees for on-screen activity from 1 January – 31 March 2021. The fee is outlined as per below.

ASX Clear Fees

ASX Clear charges a transaction fee of $0.13 plus GST per share option contract.In the case of index options, ASX Clear charges a registration fee of $0.45 plus GST per contract.

I am a retail trader

As a retail trader, from 1 January to 31 March 2021, ASX will not be charging this fee for all trades executed ‘On-Screen’. 

Please note all other related fees are still applicable including brokerage paid to your broker. See more: Cost of Trading Options.

I am an institutional client

As an Institutional client, from 1 January to 31 March 2021, ASX will not be charging this fee for all trades executed ‘On-Screen’. All trades which are reported as ‘Special Crossings’ will still attract the ASX Clear Fee.
