Key principles of stakeholder engagement

Our approach to stakeholder management is anchored in our purpose to power a stronger economic future by enabling a fair and dynamic marketplace for all. It is expressed through our key stakeholder engagement principles.

  • We will communicate honestly, accurately and in plain language, providing important updates promptly and exercising best practice disclosure.
  • We will earn trust by maintaining high standards of corporate governance in accordance with all applicable regulation, policies and procedures, and by delivering systems and processes that are stable, secure, reliable and fair.
  • We will engage all ASX key stakeholder groups and respond to enquiries respectfully and quickly.
  • We will listen objectively and manage the differing priorities and needs of our diverse stakeholder groups.
  • We will meet our legal and licence obligations using a balanced and transparent approach.
  • We may not reach consensus every time and may adopt different positions when it comes to the best way to safely support the highest quality outcomes of availability, reliability and stability of ASX facilities for our financial community.
  • We will actively communicate our strategy and approach for embracing innovative solutions to drive efficiency and create new opportunities for the market.
  • We will focus on a shared vision for the future of Australian financial markets.
  • We will develop strategy that places a high priority on the safety and stability of our facilities and systems.
