The Sharemarket Game will be taking a break while we redesign and redevelop it. This will give us the opportunity to modernise the experience, enhance the functionality and ensure that the program continues to deliver an engaging and valuable learning experience. In the meantime, the Options Game will continue to run in October 2026 and April 2027.
Build your options knowledge through a practical, eight-week experience.
The game is designed for people who are new to options, as well as those with some prior knowledge, and focuses on building understanding through practical experience.
In a simulated trading environment, participants trade options over shares, ETFs and the S&P/ASX 200 index. This allows participants to test different strategies and observe how options behave under changing market conditions.
A note for educators
