CHESS resilience exercises

CHESS Industry-Wide Reslience Exercise 2027

Purpose and participants

ASX is planning to conduct an industry-wide resilience exercise, centred on the operations of the CHESS platform.

The exercise is intended for organisations across the CHESS ecosystem, including Clearing and Settlement Participants, Payment Providers, Share Registries, Approved Market Operators (AMOs) and other key stakeholders. Delivered as a facilitated tabletop exercise, the exercise will provide participants with the opportunity to work through a cyber driven disruption scenario to CHESS system, explore potential impacts on their operations and dependencies, and strengthen coordination across the financial market ecosystem. Participants will be invited to contribute to planning activities and take part in the exercise event on Tuesday 4 May 2027 1.00pm - 4.00pm AEST.

If your organisation would like to participate in the industry-wide resilience exercise, please complete the expression of interest (EOI) form.
