ASX offers a range of participant membership categories that span its trading, clearing and settlement facilities.
ASX Clear Pty Limited and ASX Settlement Pty Limited’s Trade Acceptance Service (TAS) and related Product Services provide non-discriminatory access to clearing and settlement arrangements for Approved Market Operators (AMOs). The Trade Acceptance Service enables trades in CHESS eligible financial products executed on any Australian licensed trading platform to be cleared and settled by ASX Clear and ASX Settlement.

ASX Clear and ASX Settlement have put in place Information Handling Standards for the protection of confidential information (including competitively sensitive information) of AMOs and ALMOs which ASX Clear and ASX Settlement may acquire in connection with the provision of the Trade Acceptance Service and Product Services, or the Settlement Facilitation Service.
The purpose of the Information Handling Standards is to establish a transparent framework for handling confidential information disclosed to the ASX Clear and ASX Settlement in connection with the provision of the Trade Acceptance Service and Product Services, or the Settlement Facilitation Service.
